Privacy Policy
Last updated June 1, 2026. We respect your privacy and limit data collection to what's needed to operate the site.
Information We Collect
We collect a limited set of information when you visit QuickEats Review. This falls into three categories. First, automatic server logs: when your browser requests a page, our hosting infrastructure records the IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, HTTP referrer, and a timestamp. Second, analytics events: we use Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic, popular articles, and broad geographic distribution of readers. Third, information you voluntarily provide: when you fill out the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, we collect the name, email address, and message content you submit.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to deliver and improve the site. Server logs help us diagnose errors and identify abusive traffic. Analytics data helps editors understand which stories resonate with readers and where to invest reporting resources. Contact form submissions are routed to the relevant editorial inbox and used solely to respond to your message. Newsletter signups are used to send the weekly editorial digest you requested and nothing else.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with data brokers. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles ourselves; however, our advertising partner Google may do so as described below.
Cookies and Local Storage
QuickEats Review uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies for three purposes: (1) essential cookies that remember whether you have dismissed the cookie consent banner and other interface state; (2) analytics cookies set by Google Analytics that assign a pseudonymous identifier to your browser so we can distinguish unique visitors from repeat visits; and (3) advertising cookies set by Google Ads and its partners, used to serve and measure display advertising.
On your first visit you will see a consent banner. Non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising) are not set until you affirmatively accept them. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy: Google Analytics (traffic measurement), Google Ads and the Google ad network (display advertising), and our hosting and content-delivery providers (site operation). Google Ads may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to QuickEats Review or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google at adssettings.google.com, and you can opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices.
Your Choices
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense, but the use of advertising cookies described above may qualify as "sharing" under CCPA. You can opt out by adjusting cookie preferences or by emailing privacy@quickeatsreview.example.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@quickeatsreview.example.
Data Retention
Server access logs are retained for thirty (30) days and then permanently deleted. Google Analytics data is retained for fourteen (14) months at the property level. Contact form submissions and editorial correspondence are retained for two (2) years in the relevant inbox unless you request earlier deletion. Newsletter subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe.
Children's Privacy
QuickEats Review is not directed to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International Users
QuickEats Review is operated from the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws that differ from those of your country.
